C’mon CityLAB!

The USPS team has been patiently waiting for the results of the first round of the CityLAB’s WPA 2.0 competition.  Supposedly they were going to announce the six finalists on Friday, August 21st.  Nothing.  Then “early the next week” according to their Facebook status.  It is now August 31st and we have not heard anything.  I’m getting impatient!  Our team had such a strong submission that I want to share it with the world…but I’m hoping we can do that with a little bank in our pockets.

Update: No, we were not finalist.  Details can be found at The Architect’s Newspaper or on the CityLAB website (which, surprise, surprise has not been updated).  Regardless, I am really proud of our team and our power to think big and creatively.  We need good thinkers like that to continue to move our country in a more sustainable direction.
