It’s 10:17 on Tuesday night. Chris and I just got back from a Nats game with Mike and his wife Joanna (Nats lost…but the first time this season that I watched them lose in person). I have work to do late into the night, and it’s really, really hot in my room. My procrastinating self decides to check to see how many people viewed my blog today. Yay, three. Not the best, but not the worst either. Thanks to the three of you that care. Or, to the one person that checked it three times in one day. Either way, I appreciate you as an audience.
As I checked, I saw that I had one comment. A comment! Yay!! No one has left a comment yet! Could it be that I wrote something so provocative or inspiring as to necessitate a comment? (Doubtful, but I was hopeful.) Maybe an egregious spelling error that had a witty double meaning? How exciting and new. I was planning to reward my first commenter with a little token of something to show my thanks. I clicked on the comment. Oh, no! It’s spam. Oh, well.
